Bear Awareness Alert: Increased Activity in the Community

As you may be aware, there have been bear sightings reported in Air Ronge.  Please don’t forget to take simple measures to protect your property and those properties around you.  

• Reduce access to attractants such as garbage and compost and keep receptacles clean.  
• Avoid composting fish, meat, fats, or oils.  
• If your area is prone to bears, avoid using bird feeders.
